Christa picked up scissors at 8, starting her career by cutting her Barbie dolls’ hair, then moving on to family members. After formal training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, she moved to San Francisco, sharpening her skills at top salons like Architects & Heroes and DiPietro Todd.
Nine years later, she took her talents to NYC, becoming a senior stylist at Cutler Soho and working on editorial shoots and backstage at fashion week. Christa’s style is effortless and inspired by her clients’ personalities, creating looks that enhance natural textures and individual styles.
She moved to Richmond in 2020, and when she’s not doing hair, she enjoys swimming, estate sale-ing, fixing her old house, and spending time with her partner and their terrier, Nacho.
