We use bond-building treatments, high-performance lighteners, and Keune professional color to reduce breakage and keep your hair strong, healthy, and vibrant throughout the blonding process. Your stylist will assess your hair during the consultation and create a plan that is safe and effective for you.
How long your color lasts depends on the type of service you choose, your hair’s starting point, and how you care for it at home. At PRISM HAIR, we use high-quality color products and personalized formulations to help your color stay rich and vibrant between appointments.
Blonding services like balayage or highlights typically last between 8 to 12 weeks before needing a refresh. Root touch-ups and all-over color often need maintenance every 4 to 6 weeks. Fashion colors fade faster and usually require a refresh every 3 to 5 weeks. Glosses and toners are recommended every 8 to 10 weeks to keep your blonde or brunette tones fresh and shiny.
To help your color last, your stylist will send you home with a personalized care plan including professional product recommendations.

When you do use hot tools, always apply a heat protectant. Washing less often and using dry shampoo can also help extend the life of your color. We’ll also recommend in-salon gloss or toner refreshes every few weeks to keep your color looking bold, balanced, and vibrant.
Our service pricing is based on each stylist’s experience, specialty, and demand, giving you the flexibility to choose the artist that best fits your needs. Pricing varies depending on the number of techniques used and the amount of color required to achieve your desired look. For guests with extra-long or thick hair, or services requiring more time or product, an additional charge may be applied. Your stylist will walk through everything during your consultation, so there are no surprises.
A Color Consultation gives you the opportunity to meet one of our stylists to chat about your hair goals and get on the same page! For a productive session, please leave an appointment note telling us what you’d like to discuss, current color history, and send any relevant photos to our salon phone prior to your appointment. A $25 fee will be charged to the card on file if there is a no show.
